I am currently the coordinator of the Alaska Birth Defects Registry in the state Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health. I have an MPH from the University Hawaii, a BS in nutrition from the University of Maine, and am a registered dietitian. I have worked in the field of maternal and child health in Alaska for more than 15 years and formerly served as Executive Director for Alaska Health Fair, Inc. I am very interested in the impact of diet on health and disease prevention. I love to spend time with family and friends, travel, fish, hike, pick berries, cook, and create things.
